Outlander Season 3 Teaser Trailer

The teaser trailer for Season 3 of Outlander just dropped, and Oh. My. GOD. I can’t even contain my excitement. This line of Jamie’s is one of my favorites from the books so far, and I am thrilled that they used it in the trailer.

Season 3 will premiere some time in September, but the exact date has not been announced. As much as I hate that there is so much time between seasons, I know that it’s going to be that much better when I finally see it.

Here’s the official Season 3 synopsis:

In Season Three of “Outlander,” the story picks up right after Claire travels through the stones to return to her life in 1948. Now pregnant, she struggles with the fallout of her sudden reappearance and its effect on her marriage to her first husband, Frank. Meanwhile, in the 18th century, Jamie suffers from the aftermath of his doomed last stand at the historic battle of Culloden, as well as the loss of Claire. As the years pass, Jamie and Claire attempt to make a life apart from one another, each haunted by the memory of their lost love. The budding possibility that Claire can return to Jamie in the past breathes new hope into Claire’s heart… as well as new doubt. Separated by continents and centuries, Claire and Jamie must find their way back to each other. As always, adversity, mystery, and adventure await them on the path to reunion. And the question remains: when they find each other, will they be the same people who parted at the standing stones, all those years ago?

Here’s the trailer if you haven’t seen it yet!

I’m so curious to see how they portray Voyager on screen. Will they split it into two seasons again like season 1? Or will they use the first episode or so to show Jamie and Claire’s lives continuing without one another and have them reunite later in the season?

What are your season 3 predictions?

Outlander is one of my favorite series of all time! I haven’t read them all yet, but I plan on doing it before their respective seasons air. Hopefully. Probably.

And if you’ve already seen the first two seasons of the show, the trailer doesn’t reveal anything we don’t already know! 🙂
